RUTGERS GOLF ASSOCIATION - - - 2026 Membership Application 

 


Welcome both past and new members.

Our 2026 season begins on Thursday - Sunday, April 2nd - 5th.  This will only be a typical tournament weekend.  We will have our opening day on Saturday/Sunday April 18th/19th.  This is due to the course closure the week of April 6th.  The 4 man tournament will be played with tee times provided by the pro shop.  These times will be available in our Golf Genius app under tournament signups.  If you are unable to play during those provided times you will be able to make your own tee times for either Saturday, April 18th or Sunday, April 19th.  Members are asked to sign up on Golf Genius as early as possible as the provided tee times will be moved back to the general public Thursday evening (April 16th).  We will include vouches for those members playing opening day weekend. 

 

 

Memberships

We will again be offering both full and half season memberships.  Full season memberships will increase this year.  If you register before April 1st the fee will be $130.00 + site finance charge.  Starting April 1st the fee will be $135.00 + site finance charge.  This is our first increase in over 10 years and was necessary due to increased costs over the past couple of years for GHIN management, PO Box, etc.  Half Season memberships will be $100.00 + site finance charge and will expire July 29th. You will have an option to extend to a full season membership by paying an additional ($35.00).  Half Season memberships are also available from July 30th to the end of the season.

 

Online Registration is now open through the RGA Golf Genius website.  You can register using your credit card by following the link on the left hand side of our home page.  

 

You can also register by check using the link at the bottom of this page.  Members paying by check prior to April 1st will be $135.00 and after April 1st will be $140.00.  Please complete the registration form and include it with your check to the PO Box. 

 

Once your online process is completed or your check is received a committee member will register you on our website which will allow you to sign up for tournaments.  Please don't delay your registration as you will not be able to sign up and play in any tournament until we have received your payment.

We will be using your email address or contact number on file to notify you of major tournament seedings, tee times, tournament changes due to weather, and all other important announcements.
 

The RGA Brochure for 2026 will be available shortly on the RGA website once all revisions are completed.  The brochure will include complete information on tournaments, formats, local rules and the schedule of events.  

 


Assigned Starting Times: The RGA does request blocked out starting times from the pro shop for a few special events (i.e.; Opening Day, Closing Day and our major tournaments, Pres./Vice-Pres Cup, Club Championship, Cristauro Classic, and the Tournament of Champions). For all other weekend RGA events you are required to arrange your own starting times by using the reservation system or by using you weekend lottery times.


Assigned Tee Times: For major tournaments players are assigned tee times after the qualifying round of the tournament. It is your responsibility to determine if you qualified and your assigned tee time. The Tournament Committee will attempt to notify you via email and the tee times will be posted on the RGA website and the RGA bulletin board inside the clubhouse. If you do not show for your assigned tee time you will forfeit all winnings for that tournament. Please do not sign up for a major tournament if you are not sure you will be available to play all rounds.


USGA Rules, Rutgers Golf Course Local Rules, and Rutgers Golf Association Rules govern all RGA Tournaments. Each hole played must be “holed out” and each stroke recorded for your score. There are no “gimmes”. Putts can only be conceded in match play. Scores entered in the new Golf Genius app will be adjusted in accordance with Equitable Stroke Control before being submitted to the GHIN service for handicapping. Your membership dues are used to pay for your GHIN handicap, a cookout, prizes, trophies, and RGA operating expenses.

 

Notice: Refund of Membership Dues: If you become dissatisfied for any reason you may withdraw from the RGA and request a full refund of your dues, provided that you make such a request before April 12th 2025. (July 31st for second half season member). There are no refunds once the season starts.
